Forest Garden

A Forest Garden is a designed agronomic system based on trees, shrubs, and perennial plants. These are mixed in such a way as to mimic the structure of a natural forest – the most stable and sustainable type of ecosystem.

"Food forests, or edible forest gardens, are life-filled places that not only provide food for people, but habitat for wildlife, carbon sequestering, biodiversity, natural soil building, beauty and tranquility, and a host of other benefits — you just need to take a page from Mother Nature’s book."

In the depths of Imago's forest lies a Forest Garden filled with a variety of fruit and nut-producing trees, bushes, shrubs, and herbs. If you're interested in volunteering to maintain this space or have plants to offer, please reach out: hilltopecocommunity@gmail.com.

Hilltop Co-Op

A recurring co-op order takes place for United Natural Foods, one of the nation's largest distributors of natural food. Most items are purchased in bulk, though some can be bought individually.

There is a $10 lifetime membership fee.
